Dear Staff,

We certainly are in the midst of a rather difficult and challenging time at present; this challenge is going to continue for many months to come and I want you all to know just how much I appreciate you caring, commitment and professionalism and that these qualities do not go unnoticed by our elders, their family, the leadership team and our Board.
Our Government has also recognised the important role you all play and in recognition of the work you do and as a means of thanks and support the government is paying a bonus to help you and the sector stay strong. Details are as follows:
▪ The bonus will be paid in two payments: one in June and one in September.
▪ Full time staff will receive up to $800 after tax
▪ Part-time direct care workers receive a pro-rata payment for the amount of time you work. For example, if you work two days a week, you’ll receive 40 per cent of the payment.

We will let you know when the payments will be made.
