Dear team,
As you are aware, James Milson Village North Sydney received an unannounced Accreditation Review from the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission (ACQSC). 4 ACQSC Assessment Staff arrived at North Sydney on Tuesday, November 15 and stayed till early afternoon, Friday, November 18.
The assessment was conducted to assess the quality of care and services provided by JMV through the service against the newer and more stringent Aged Care Quality Standards (the Quality Standards).
On Friday – November 25 – we received the ACQSC Report.
I am very excited to announce that we received an awesomely high-quality rating with:
- All of the eight new Quality Standards being assessed as MET
- James Milson Village North Sydney is now fully accredited under the Aged Care Quality Standards

This very successful Accreditation result vindicates the very significant investment from our Board, management and most importantly all of you as we have placed in new processes, practices, systems, people, capabilities and training over the past two years.
The Report demonstrates the real representation of our staff, all of you, caring and knowing our consumers.
This could not have been achieved without the dedication and commitment from all our wonderful staff – we cannot thank you all enough.
This is a very significant milestone in the history of James Milson Village – this level of Accreditation Assessment Report is extremely positive in this tighter Legislative framework.
We are very proud of this achievement.
