Every resident at James Milson Village has unique and “special needs” and therefore to better reflect the nature of the support provided we have changed the name to Memory support Wing.

Memory Support is the consistent approach that is adopted within units supporting people with a cognitive impairment.

The approach is enabling and is designed to provide people with a cognitive impairment every opportunity to participate within their home; to achieve this the approach  adopts an Activity of Living focus and requires staff to engage with residents to participate in their home, enjoy being active within their home and to succeed and be useful and have a sense of purpose.
